Job summary

The Entertainer in Crawley is seeking a Sales Assistant to join our toy-loving team. You will deliver outstanding customer service, share product knowledge, and assist with product demonstrations and character visit days. You will also process sales at tills and keep shelves well merchandised to our standards.

Weekend availability is essential, with a 10-hour weekend contract (4 hours Saturday, 6 hours Sunday). Flexible start/finish times are needed, especially around holidays and peak periods.

Key Information about this role:

16-20 year olds - £11.30per hour.

21-year-oldplus - £12.86per hour

What we need from you:

What your responsibilities will include:

• Deliver outstanding customer service, prioritising customers and delivering a great shopping experience.
• Sharing your knowledge about our product range and offering helpful advice to our customers.
• Actively participate in demonstrating products and occasional character visit days.
• Process sales transactions accurately, securely and efficiently through the till points.
• Maintain merchandising of toys to company standards

Weekends are our busy time so we need to be able to deliver a great experience to our customers. We will offer you a 10 - hour contract, working 4-hour shifts on a Saturday and 6-hour shifts on a Sunday. Depending on the trading hours of the store you’re applying for it is also important that you are able to be flexible with start and finish times. We may also ask you to help the store by working extra hours especially at Christmas and in school holidays.
