Job summary

Mitie Group plc is seeking a Retail Security Officer to cover Saturdays and Sundays. You will protect customers, property and assets on site, delivering security services in line with the published Assignment Instructions and striving to meet key performance indicators and service levels.

You must hold an SIA Front-line Licence (Guarding or Door Supervision) and be prepared to complete mandatory training, renew licences on schedule, and follow UK law and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• SIA Front-line Licence (Guarding or Door Supervision) is required.
• Licence renewal 16 weeks before expiry as per contract.
• UK law and health & safety requirements knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Protect customers, property and assets on site.
• Meet KPIs and SLAs by delivering reliable security services.
• Follow published Assignment Instructions (AIs) and review changes.
• Complete required competency training and development.
• Refer to and implement changes in Assignment Instructions.
• Call emergency services and document incidents promptly.
