Job summary

Aramark Crumlin is recruiting a friendly Retail Assistant for a part-time, weekend-only position (18 hours per week) in Crumlin, BT29 4BN. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, stocking shelves, handling deliveries, and maintaining a clean, safe retail environment.

You will work Saturdays and Sundays with a salary of £12.71 per hour, enjoying benefits such as staff meals, on-site parking, pension, life assurance, and discount programs.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience is helpful but not essential.
• Full training will be provided.
• Comfortable working as part of a team and occasionally on your own.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Positive and reliable approach to work.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexible in all aspects of working rosters, including weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Serving customers and processing payments accurately.
• Keeping shelves fully stocked and displays looking great.
• Receiving deliveries and managing stock levels.
• Monitoring product availability and reporting shortages as required.

• Following food hygiene and health & safety standards at all times.
• Supporting the opening and closing of the retail unit.
• Assisting with merchandising and promotional displays.
• Delivering excellent customer service and creating a positive customer experience.
• Supporting the wider team with day-to-day retail operations.
