The Methodist Church in Britain is seeking a Personal Assistant to support a child in a family home. The role involves building a trusting relationship, providing companionship through play and outdoor activities, and ensuring a safe, positive environment for an 11-year-old girl with autism and ADHD traits.

The position is four hours per week, weekends preferred, with Enhanced DBS, references, and a full driving licence with access to a vehicle required.

Formación

• Previous experience working with children, ideally those with additional needs.
• Patience, reliability and strong communication skills.
• Warm, friendly and caring manner.

Responsabilidades

• Build a relationship with the child.
• Provide emotional support through play and companionship in a safe, positive environment.
• Engage the child in fun and enriching activities, including outdoors, for 4 hours a week, preferably at weekends.
