Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting for Parcel Sorters in Northampton to support Royal Mail’s Midlands Super Hub. This temporary role pays £13.69 per hour with weekend shifts and full training provided. You will sort, scan, load, unload and despatch parcels, while keeping a tidy, safe workspace and complying with site procedures.

No prior experience is required; reliable and punctual applicants who can stand/walk for long periods are preferred. Additional shifts may arise during peak times.

Qualifications

• Weekend availability required.
• Reliability and punctuality essential.
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Able to handle mail bags up to 11kg and parcels up to 30kg.
• Willingness to switch between warehouse tasks.

Responsibilities

• Sort and scan parcels.
• Load and unload parcels and pallets.
• Move parcels around the warehouse.
• Prepare parcels and containers for despatch.
• Keep work area safe and organized.
