Job summary

United Petfood is hiring Weekend Machine Operatives at the Llangadog site to join our wet pet food production team. This hands-on role covers key packing operations, ensuring efficient packing, high quality standards and safe machine operation.

The role operates on a rotating weekend shift pattern, 24 hours per week, with an enhanced weekend shift premium. Full training across multiple production areas is provided, along with a stable weekend working arrangement.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or packing experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and work ethic.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor packing machinery (Giotto/Autoline) with safety.
• Pack pet food products to company standards.
• Label and prepare goods for dispatch.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the packing area.
• Work to meet daily targets and report faults promptly.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures at all times.
