Job description

We are looking for a dedicated Weekend Mobile Security Officer to join our team in Swindon. This is a dynamic role where you will be responsible for site patrols, lock and unlock duties, and rapid alarm response, ensuring the safety and security of our clients.

Position: Weekend Mobile Security Officer

Pay: £12.60 per hour

Hours: Guaranteed 24 hours per week

Shift Patterns: Saturday and Sunday 12-hour shifts

Transport: A valid driving licence with at least 1 year of driving experience is required

Requirements: Valid SIA licence and First Aid certificate

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct regular mobile patrols across multiple sites to monitor security and identify potential issues.
  2. Manage and safeguard site keys responsibly.
  3. Perform lock and unlock duties to secure premises at the start and end of shifts, minimizing risks of unauthorized access.
  4. Respond promptly to alarm activations, assess situations, and contact emergency services if necessary.
  5. Escort staff or visitors safely to and from locations as needed.
  6. Provide backup support including patrols, alarm responses, escort duties, and other tasks throughout the shift.
  7. Ensure the security of company vehicles and maintain them to standard.
  8. Maintain a professional company image at all times.

Qualifications:

  1. SIA Licence
  2. At least 1 year of security experience, preferably as a Mobile Security Officer
  3. Full UK Driving Licence
  4. Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history
  5. Good written and oral communication skills
  6. Flexibility to cover holidays and overtime
  7. Willingness to learn, punctuality, and excellent timekeeping
