Job description

Venture Security have several ongoing opportunities for Relief Security Officers to join our award winning team. We have Security Officer positions available across our portfolio.

Pay Range: £12.50 - £15.00 per hour, with double pay for work on bank holidays.

Job Types: Part time/ Full time/ Casuals (nights and/or weekend days)

Casual employees (non-fixed hours) receive an additional 12.07% holiday pay on top of their hourly wage.

Example hourly wage: £12.50 + 12.07% = £14.08 p/hr

General Duties of a Relief Security Officer

• Site Patrols
• Locking/Unlocking
• Access and Egress Control
• Ensuring the safety and security of Clients’ property by maintaining a visible presence
• Dealing with any incidents on sites and writing reports
• Any other duties specific to site requirements

Relief Security Officer Role Requirements

• Must have a valid SIA licence or be qualified and awaiting licence.
• Must have own transport.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Confident and responsible
• Flexible to meet the shift requirements.
• Professional and smart appearance
• Able to work independently and on own initiative
• Must be able to provide a minimum of 5 years checkable work or back to school history to pass security vetting and screening requirements.
