Job summary

Wagstaff Recruitment is seeking a Weekend Material Handler for Blaenau Gwent. The role runs Friday to Sunday with a starting hourly rate of £13.32, plus a company pension, and a 3-day week structure.

Responsibilities include moving raw materials to production, maintaining stock records, and operating forklifts to load and unload materials. Experience in warehousing is required; forklift certification is essential, and safety while operating equipment is a must.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in material handling or warehouse operations.
• Forklift certification (essential)
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Transfer of raw materials and components from the warehouse to the relevant production area.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock counts, and report discrepancies.
• Operate forklifts and other machinery to load/unload materials and move them to storage areas and production lines.
• Inspect materials for damages and ensure items are in good condition before storage or dispatch.
