Job summary

Charing Healthcare is seeking a Kitchen Assistant for Chippendayle Lodge Care Home in Maidstone. The role covers Saturdays and Sundays, 16 hours per week, with an hourly rate of £12.75. You will support the kitchen team with washing up, food preparation, and maintaining cleaning schedules to ensure high hygiene standards.

Experience is preferred but not essential. The position is on-site at the care home in Kent, offering stable weekend hours and an opportunity to contribute to resident

• To clean up as you go and ensure all washing up/putting away is undertaken making use of the company chemicals supplied.
• To assist with the preparation of food in readiness for the Head Chef/Cook
• To adhere to the kitchen cleaning schedule and document all cleaning undertaken as part of the team.
