Job summary

ESS – Defence, Energy and Government Services is recruiting a part-time Housekeeper to join our team, delivering cleaning services for Defence sites contracted to 6 hours per week.

The role focuses on maintaining high cleaning standards, supporting staff and visitors, with shifts mainly on weekends. You will work within a Defence environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines and company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain a wide range of areas within the building.
• Dust, sweep, polish, mop and vacuum designated areas to a high standard.
• Ensure surfaces, floors, windows and touchpoints are sanitised regularly.
• Perform additional cleaning duties as required, such as quick spill cleanup.
• Empty and dispose of bin waste.
• Keep all areas clean, presentable and safe for visitors by following policies.
• Follow health and safety guidelines when using equipment.

We're currently recruiting a part time Housekeeper to join our dedicated team to deliver outstanding cleaning services for Defence, contracted to 6 hours per week.

As one of our committed Housekeepers, you will help to deliver on our promise to always create the best and brightest experiences for our staff and visitors.

Here's an idea of what your shift pattern will be:

• Mon: Weekends only
• Tues: Weekends only
• Weds: Weekends only
• Thurs: Weekends only
• Fri: Weekends only
• Sat: Weekends only
• Sun: Weekends only

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Cleaning and maintaining a wide range of areas within the building
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Ensuring all areas are clean, presentable and safe for visitors by following the required policies and procedures
• Following all health & safety guidelines when using equipment
