Job summary

Valley Care is looking for weekend Health Care Assistants to join our expanding team. You will provide high-quality care in clients' homes and play a key role in maintaining independence and comfort.

No prior care experience is required as full training is provided. The role offers weekend shifts, competitive hourly pay, mileage, PPE, DBS funding, and progression opportunities within a supportive, family-like team.

Qualifications

• No previous care experience required – full training provided.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• A caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
• The right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Supporting individuals with mobility and physical needs.
• Assisting with medication administration.
• Preparing meals, snacks and drinks and supporting with eating and drinking where required.
• Carrying out light domestic duties (beds, laundry, tidying, light cleaning).
• Assisting with mobility aids and equipment.
• Providing compassionate end-of-life care when required.
