Job summary

ICare Group is seeking Weekend Home Care Assistants to support people in Helsby and Runcorn. You will help individuals live independently at home, maintaining dignity, wellbeing and quality of life.

Roles involve personal care, daily routines, nutrition support and safety checks. Full training will be provided; weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Care experience welcome but not essential; full training provided.
• Able to travel throughout Helsby and Runcorn areas.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Strong communication and compassionate nature.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care with dignity and compassion.
• Assist with washing, dressing and daily routines.
• Help with meal preparation and nutrition.
• Provide medication prompts and support per care plans.
• Carry out wellbeing and safety checks.
• Support light household tasks and maintain a comfortable home environment.
• Travel between Helsby and Runcorn care calls.

Job description

We're looking for caring, compassionate and reliable individuals to join our Home Care team supporting people across Helsby (WA6) and Runcorn (WA7/WA8) during our busy weekend period., As a Weekend Home Care Assistant, you'll support people in their own homes, helping them remain independent while maintaining their dignity, wellbeing and quality of life.

No two days are the same, but your role may include:

• Providing personal care with dignity, respect and compassion
• Supporting with washing, dressing and daily routines
• Assisting with meal preparation and nutrition
• Providing medication prompts and support in line with care plans
• Carrying out wellbeing and safety checks
• Supporting with light household tasks and maintaining a comfortable home environment
• Be able to travel throughout the Helsby and Runcorn areas;
• Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle (preferred); and
• Have a valid right to work in the UK.
