Job summary

Atelier001 is seeking an experienced weekend gallery manager to join its London team on a freelance basis. The ideal candidate will have proven sales experience in art/design markets, strong English communication, and the ability to work weekends, with a passion for high-end design and client relationships in Notting Hill.

The role requires independence, excellent presentation, and the capacity to maintain the gallery's pristine condition while engaging visitors and building local community

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience in a comparable role.
• Based in London with the right to work in the UK.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Friendly, patient, dependable and responsible.

Responsibilities

• Represent Atelier001 professionally and elegantly, in person and in all communication.
• Proactively approach passers-by and attend to visitors to the gallery in person and through outreach with provided lists.
• Provide exceptional recording and follow-up on client contacts and enquiries.
• Process sales in person and give assistance on the spot.
• Maintain meticulous records of client details.
• Display a thorough understanding of Atelier001’s lighting pieces and commission pieces.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Ensure the gallery is always in pristine condition for clients.
• Form and maintain relationships with the local community and related businesses.

Atelier001 is hiring an experienced weekend gallery manager to join its team in London.

Atelier001 is seeking a weekend gallery manager with a sparkling, elegant and people facing personality. The suitable candidate will have solid experience in a showroom or gallery of a comparable nature and knowledge of the design/art-design collectible market and its clientele. Atelier001 has a lovely dedicated team and is seeking a candidate to passionately represent our artisan led, London made brand on Fridays & Saturdays and occasional events evenings.

The ideal candidate is experienced in selling high-end designs or artworks, with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, bringing passion and joy to our lovely space. An established contact book of relevant clients is desired.

The gallery is based on Golborne Road, Notting Hill, London W10.

Responsibilities:

• represent Atelier001 professionally and elegantly, in person and in all communication

Requirements:

• must be based in London with the right to work in the UK

The contract will be on a free-lance basis.
