Job summary

Equans is recruiting for a Weekend Caretaker in Derby, DE24 0BR. This permanent full-time role is 18 hours per week, with a salary of £12,458.16 per annum and a benefits package.

You will ensure health and safety compliance, carry out maintenance tasks, snow clearance, exterior clearance, and provide cover for holidays or emergencies. DBS clearance is a prerequisite and you will wear the uniform and uphold site rules.

Qualifications

• Experience within the FM industry.
• Good Timekeeping and attendance record.
• Physically fit to carry out general duties.
• Outgoing personality with strong customer service focus.
• Ability to deliver high-quality service with attention to detail.
• Experience completing Risk Assessments & Method Statements.
• DBS clearance is a prerequisite of the position.
• Live within 20 miles Derby and wear uniform.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and COSHH laws and company policies.
• Carry out first line investigations into building faults and coordinate with engineers.
• Carry out minor maintenance tasks and planned maintenance.
• Snow clearance and gritting in winter months.
• Provide general clearance outside the building (litter, leaves).
• Observe site rules and maintain a smart appearance.
• Provide cover for holidays, sickness and emergencies.
• Be prepared to perform other reasonable duties as requested.
