Job summary

Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust in Basildon is seeking a Patient Services Assistant in the Catering department. You will support ward teams with daily cleaning and provide a friendly meal and beverage service, respecting dietary and cultural needs.

This part-time role (18 hours per week) includes weekend evenings 16:30-19:30, 3 hours each on Saturday and Sunday, with a pro-rata salary of £25,272 per year for part-time staff. Training and NHS environment offered.

• Experience of working with the general public.

• Experience of working for the NHS.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe ward environment and assist with meal service.
• Check dietary and special meals and assist with tray distribution.
