Job summary

NHS Dumfries and Galloway is seeking an enthusiastic Dental Nurse to join our Public Dental Service (PDS) to provide patient-centred dental support in NHS Dumfries & Galloway. This unique opportunity will see you providing direct and indirect support to both patients and the clinical team.

The position is within our Scottish Emergency Dental Service (SEDS) providing clinics from Galloway Community Hospital.

Qualifications

• Must have NEBDN qualification or SVQ Level 3 in Dental Nursing.
• GDC registration as a Dental Nurse is essential.
• Sound knowledge of Health & Safety in a clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centred dental support within the Public Dental Service (PDS).
• Offer direct and indirect support to patients and the clinical team.
• Carry out reception duties as part of the role.
