Job summary

Nviro Ltd in Portsmouth is seeking a part-time cleaner to support local community sites. The role involves weekend shifts and split hours, 12:00–16:00 and 18:00–22:00, totaling 8 hours per week on Saturdays or Sundays.

You will dust, wipe, vacuum, mop floors and clean custody areas as required, with police vetting to be requested if successful. The package includes a Real Living Wage, a refer-a-friend scheme and access to 24/7 GP services.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience in schools, community centres, offices or similar environments.
• Willing to work split shifts including weekends.
• Police Vetting will need to be requested if successful.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain sites to keep them hygienic and safe, including custody areas as required.
• Dust, wipe surfaces, vacuum, mop floors, and safely clean bodily fluids when required.
• Work on Saturdays or Sundays 8 hours per week as part of split shifts.

Job Type:Part-time, permanent.

Pay rate:£13.45 per hour.

Pay frequency:4-weekly.

Contract: Split shift, 12pm to 4pm AND 6pm to 10pm, Saturday OR Sunday, 8 hours per week.

Please note: if you're successful in this role, Police Vetting will need to be requested for you.

As one of our cleaners in Portsmouth on sites that represent the heart of the local community, you will clean during the weekend. Your role will be to keep the site clean, hygienic and safe which will include cleaning the police station custody areas by dusting and wiping surfaces, vacuuming, and mopping floors, and safely cleaning bodily fluids when required.
