Sodexo is seeking a Weekend Cook in Southport to provide nutritious meals for residents and staff. The role offers consistent weekend hours, with Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00am to 2:00pm, totaling 12 hours per week. Applicants must be 18+ and able to provide valid photo ID.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a professional cooking or catering role is essential.
• Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene and kitchen procedures.
• The ability to work independently, manage your time and prioritise tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook nutritious, high-quality meals for residents and staff.
• Take responsibility for the kitchen and make sure meals are prepared and served on time.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the kitchen and dining areas.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and health and safety procedures at all times.
• Check stock levels and order or replenish ingredients and supplies when required.
• Work closely with colleagues and communicate clearly to ensure the service runs smoothly.
• Work confidently and safely when working independently.
