Job summary

St Ermin's Hotel in London is seeking a Weekend Commis Chef to work Saturdays and Sundays, 16 hours per week. You will support the kitchen team in delivering hospitality of the highest standard while learning essential techniques and maintaining clean, organized workstations.

As part of the role you will follow recipes, ensure correct portions, and complete basic food hygiene training within the first month. A London living wage and service charge accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the UK
• Weekend availability required
• Basic food hygiene training to be completed within 1 month of starting

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food for your section following recipes and standards
• Follow instructions from senior chefs
• Maintain portion control and plating standards
• Keep your section, fridges and worktops clean and tidy
• Liaise with maintenance for equipment and utensils
• Label prepared food with dates clearly
• Complete basic food hygiene training within one month of starting
• Adhere to Health and Safety and Food Hygiene policies
