Job summary

Norbar Torque Tools Ltd. is seeking a skilled CNC Miller Setter for a weekend shift in Banbury. The role involves setting and operating CNC and related manual machines to produce components to specification on a Fri-Sun schedule (36 hours).

You will ensure safe working practices and maintain high quality through rigorous inspection and data accuracy. The ideal candidate has experience with CNC settings, a good grasp of engineering drawings, and a proactive mindset toward safety, quality and

Qualifications

Experience setting and operating CNC machines.
Good understanding of engineering drawings and measurement tools.
Proactive approach to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Reliable, organised, and able to work to production targets.

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe working environment by following procedures and keeping areas hazard-free.
Work to planned schedules and coordinate with shift management to support production planning.
Ensure data accuracy and report errors through correct processes.
Set and operate CNC machinery and related equipment to produce components to specification.
Inspect components against engineering drawings using measuring equipment for accuracy.
Collaborate with other departments to support smooth production flow.
Perform additional duties as requested by Shift Management.
