Job summary

Sodexo Ltd. is seeking a Cleaning Operative for the Mars site in Castle Cary. This permanent, part-time role involves keeping manufacturing areas clean, safe, and well maintained, following established schedules and health and safety procedures.

You will work Saturdays and Sundays, 6:00am–2:00pm, with responsibilities that include using approved cleaning equipment, handling waste, and maintaining hygiene standards as part of the facilities team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled cleaning across the site.
• Safely use cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Complete cleaning schedules accurately and promptly.
• Remove and segregate waste per site procedures.
• Keep cleaning cupboards tidy and stocked.
• Follow COSHH, health and safety and PPE requirements.
• Report safety, quality or equipment issues promptly.
