Job summary

DriverHire Bridgwater is seeking experienced Class 1 (C+E) drivers for weekend-only trunking work with trailer swaps and RDC deliveries in Bridgwater. Expect weekend shifts with ongoing opportunities and weekly PAYE payments.

Applicants must hold a full UK Class 1 licence (C+E), have CPC and tachograph cards, and understand drivers’ hours regulations. Additional weekday shifts may be available at different rates.

Qualifications

• Licence C+E/Class 1 required.
• At least 1 year of Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of drivers’ hours and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Tramping and trailer swaps on weekends.
• RDC deliveries and collections.
• Mainly straightforward trunking work.
• No handballing.
• Weekly PAYE pay.
