Job summary

Contract Options is seeking a Weekend Chef in Camborne, Cornwall (TR14 8NQ). You will prepare home-cooked meals from scratch for up to 22 residents each day, working Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 to 18:00, with a focus on independence.

The role offers weekly pay, holiday pay, and a DBS-based safety framework; enhanced DBS may be applied if the role becomes permanent. Good public transport access is available.

Qualifications

• Previous chef/cooking experience.
• Happy to work alone.
• Stable career history.
• Comfortable preparing home-cooked meals from scratch.
• Willing to carry out KP duties.
• Reliable and responsible.

Responsibilities

• Prepare home-cooked meals from scratch for up to 22 residents daily.
• Work independently and manage duties without direct supervision.
• Carry out kitchen KP duties as required.
• Ensure meals are prepared to a consistent standard and served on time.
