Job summary

Contract Options is seeking a Weekend Chef in Maidstone, Kent (ME16 8SH). The role involves preparing home-cooked meals from scratch for up to 22 residents daily. You will work independently on Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 to 18:00, with a temporary 8–12 week contract and weekly pay plus holiday pay.

DBS checks are required and enhanced DBS may follow if the role becomes permanent. Ideal candidates have cooking experience, are comfortable working alone, and are reliable with a stable career

Weekend Chef - Maidstone - Kent - ME16 8SH

We are looking for a Weekend Chef.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing home-cooked meals, mainly from scratch, for up to 22 residents per day. Residents place their food orders in the morning.

You will be working independently, so you must be confident working on your own.

Job Details:

• Saturday & Sunday, 12pm-6pm
• £15.00 to 15.50 per hour
• Up to 22 meals per day
• 8-weeks to 12 weeks temporary contract, temp to perm
• Paid weekly, plus holiday pay
• Basic DBS required initially; Enhanced DBS will be applied for if the role becomes permanent
• Good access to public transport
