Job summary

Priory Hospital Southampton, part-time Chef role with Sodexo, involves preparing high-quality meals to support patient wellbeing and enhance dining experiences. Work is Saturdays and Sundays, 15 hours per week, with pay between £14.00 and £15.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) required.
• At least 2 years' experience as a chef.
• Strong culinary skills and genuine passion for cooking.
• Ability to perform well under pressure in a busy kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and quality standards.
• Contribute to menu planning and recipe development.
• Support, guide, and train junior chefs and kitchen staff.
• Ensure full compliance with health and safety, hygiene, COSHH, and fire safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment.
