Job summary

Havens Hospices in Hadleigh is seeking a Weekend Sales Assistant to join our friendly charity shop team. You will help serve customers, handle transactions, and support the day-to-day running of the shop.

Working 7.5 hours per week, you’ll maintain a clean, welcoming shop environment, assist with stock presentation, and contribute to our community-focused mission. This part-time role offers a rewarding introduction to retail within a caring charity.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
• Good literacy and numeracy, IT skills.
• Experience in retail or front-of-house roles is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day shop operations under the Shop Manager.
• Handle till transactions and support sales targets.
• Keep the shop clean, tidy and well displayed.
• Coordinate with other Havens Hospices shops and local communities.
• Provide cover for other shops when needed and assist in stock control.
