Job summary

Quality Service Recruitment Limited is seeking experienced Care Assistants for weekend shifts in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. You will care for residents in a home that supports individuals with age-related illnesses, helping with hygiene, mobility and nutrition.

You will also perform light housekeeping, follow safety guidelines, and report any changes to senior staff. Training and DBS support are provided to successful applicants.

Qualifications

• An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months.
• Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving and Handling training.
• A Referenceable work history.
• At least 3 months experience within a similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Support residents in daily tasks, facilitating hygiene, mobility, and nutrition.
• Complete housekeeping tasks and adhere to health and safety guidelines.
• Accurately report condition updates and any incidents to senior staff.

Job description

We have flexible work opportunities available for experienced Care Assistants to work weekend hours in the Ilkeston area of Derbyshire.

You will be working in a beautiful care home which caters for up to 31 residents. The residents suffer with age related illnesses such as Dementia and Alzheimer's, therefore, supporting their mental and physical well-being is of the utmost importance.

As a Healthcare Assistant you will be supporting residents in their daily tasks, facilitating hygiene, mobility, and nutrition.

You will be expected to complete housekeeping tasks, follow health and safety guidelines, and accurately report condition updates and any incidents to senior staff members.

As a Care Assistant, you will need:

• An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
• Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving and Handling training
