Job summary

A beautiful residential home in Chilwell, Nottingham, is seeking experienced Care Assistants for flexible weekend work with immediate starts.

You will follow personalised care plans for residents with age-related illnesses, deliver high-quality care, and support residents' emotional wellbeing through friendly interactions and reliable presence.

This ongoing role offers permanent opportunities, local weekend shifts, and a chance to make a difference in residents' everyday lives.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months.
• Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving and Handling training (up to date).
• Referenceable work history.
• At least 3 months experience within a similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Follow personalised care plans for each resident and deliver the highest standard of care.
• Support residents' emotional wellbeing by engaging with them in a friendly manner and acting as a familiar face.
• Complete domestic tasks as required, adhere to health and safety guidelines, and promote residents' welfare.

The home specialises in residential care for the elderly, with age related illnesses such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s.

You will follow personalised care plans for each resident, ensuring you deliver the highest standard of care.

You will be supporting the emotional wellbeing by engaging with residents, in a friendly manner and acting as familiar face.

Additional responsibilities could include completing domestic tasks, adhering to health and safety guidelines, and taking responsibility for promoting the welfare of the adults in your care.

To be suitable for this position you must have

• - An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
• - Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving and Handling training
• - A Referenceable work history
• - At least 3 months experience within a similar setting
