A residential care home in Chilwell, Nottingham is hiring experienced Care Assistants for flexible weekend shifts. We offer immediate starts in a supportive, elderly-care setting focused on Dementia and Alzheimer’s care.

You will follow personalised care plans, engage residents to support emotional wellbeing, and assist with domestic duties while adhering to health and safety guidelines. This ongoing position promises permanent opportunities for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months.
• Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, and Moving and Handling training.
• Referenceable work history.
• At least 3 months experience within a similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Follow personalised care plans for each resident and deliver high standards of care.
• Support residents' emotional wellbeing by engaging with them in a friendly manner.
• Complete domestic tasks as needed and promote residents' welfare and safety.

The home specialises in residential care for the elderly, with age related illnesses such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s.

You will follow personalised care plans for each resident, ensuring you deliver the highest standard of care.

You will be supporting the emotional wellbeing by engaging with residents, in a friendly manner and acting as familiar face.

Additional responsibilities could include completing domestic tasks, adhering to health and safety guidelines, and taking responsibility for promoting the welfare of the adults in your care.

To be suitable for this position you must have:
