Harbour Healthcare Limited in Maryport is seeking a Weekend Activities Assistant (16 hrs) to help deliver engaging experiences at Riverside CourtCare Home. You’ll support residents with meaningful group and 1-to-1 activities, assist with themed events, outings and fundraising, and help maintain participation records.

The role suits someone who is warm, patient and creative, with a passion for dementia care. Weekend shifts on Saturdays and Sundays with a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people living with dementia.
• Warm, approachable and caring demeanor.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support engaging group and one-to-one activities for residents.
• Help organise themed events and celebrations.
• Book entertainers and external suppliers.
• Assist with community outings and transport planning.
• Maintain participation records and review resident needs.
• Contribute ideas to keep programmes fresh and inspiring.
• Support fundraising events and community involvement.
• Attend training and team meetings.
