Blue Sky Brokers is seeking a Weekend Support Worker/PA for a 7-year-old autistic, non-verbal child in Salford. The role focuses on one-on-one support, enabling participation in activities the child enjoys, and promoting independence during weekends.

You will accompany the child on activities, outings, and water-based play, using a disability pushchair when needed, with a patient, positive approach to suit the child’s interests.

Competenze

• Essential: Experience supporting non-verbal autistic children
• Good understanding of autism and individual communication needs
• Relevant training is preferred
• Any necessary training can be discussed/provided as required

Mansioni

• Saturday and/or Sunday duties
• One-to-one support with the child
• Assist in activities the child enjoys
• Swimming on Sundays
• Support participation in community activities
• Use disability pushchair for safe outings
• Provide patient, engaging support tailored to interests
