Job summary

Blue Sky Brokers is seeking a Weekend Support Worker/PA for a 7-year-old autistic, non-verbal child in Salford. The role focuses on one-on-one support, enabling participation in activities the child enjoys, and promoting independence during weekends.

You will accompany the child on activities, outings, and water-based play, using a disability pushchair when needed, with a patient, positive approach to suit the child’s interests.

Qualifications

• Essential: Experience supporting non-verbal autistic children
• Good understanding of autism and individual communication needs
• Relevant training is preferred
• Any necessary training can be discussed/provided as required

We are looking for a kind, patient and experienced Personal Assistant/Support Worker to support a 7-year-old autistic child who is non-verbal.

The role involves providing one-to-one support and helping the child enjoy activities they like, while supporting their independence and participation in the community.
