Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD is seeking an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician to join a busy independent workshop. You will perform comprehensive servicing, diagnostics, and complex repairs across a varied fleet, with a focus on quality craftsmanship and customer service in a modern shop environment.

You will work Monday to Friday in a no-weekends role with regular hours and opportunities for training on up-to-date equipment, serving both light vehicles and vans.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional automotive experience in light vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Strong all-round mechanical ability with advanced diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Independent problem-solving mindset and a professional approach to customers and colleagues.
• Full UK driving licence & own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive vehicle servicing from start to finish.
• General vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Multi-point inspections with fault-finding and diagnostics.
• Electrical diagnostics and mechanical overhauls (clutches, cambelts/timing belts).
• Gearbox repairs and precision brake/suspension work.
