Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD in the Leicester area seeks an experienced Vehicle Technician / Diagnostic Specialist to join its expanding technical team. You will perform deep-level diagnostic fault isolation, heavy mechanical overhauls, pre-MOT safety evaluations, and routine manufacturer-level servicing across a wide range of customer vehicles.

Required NVQ/IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, strong diagnostic capability, and full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent time-served background).
• Experienced mechanic with strong diagnostic problem solving and heavy mechanical repair skills.
• DVSA MOT Tester licence is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Execute deep-level diagnostic fault isolation across various vehicles.
• Perform heavy mechanical overhauls and routine manufacturer-level servicing.
• Conduct pre-MOT safety evaluations and ensure compliance with standards.
