Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd is seeking reliable HGV Class 2 drivers to join an established Ilkeston operation. The role offers regular Monday-to-Friday daytime shifts, ongoing temporary work and the opportunity to gain solid driving experience while delivering a professional service to customers.

Applicants must hold a UK HGV Class 2 licence with Category C entitlement, Driver CPC and a Digital Tachograph Card; newly qualified drivers welcome.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 licence with Category C entitlement.
• Driver CPC and a Digital Tachograph Card.
• Newly qualified drivers welcome; previous Class 2 experience advantageous.
• Good understanding of UK roads and driving regulations; reliable and professional; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries and collections across allocated routes.
• Manage your own route and working day; provide professional service at delivery points.
• Follow schedules, carry out vehicle checks, ensure loads are secure.
