Job summary

The job requires a valid HGV Class 1 licence, CPC and tachograph, and a full UK licence with limited points. You’ll work with a supportive transport team on varied trunking assignments.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 licence required and up to date CPC and tachograph card.
• Full UK licence with no more than six points.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Good communication with depot staff and planners.
• Willing to work occasional overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Class 1 trunking runs between local depots.
• Complete trailer drop, swap, and collection duties.
• Transport goods safely and efficiently following planned routes.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and communicate clearly with transport teams.
