Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is urgently recruiting HGV Class 1 (Cat CE) Drivers for a busy trunking operation in Swindon. This role offers regular Monday to Friday weekday work with no weekends and provides a competitive pay package and long-term prospects in a modern logistics setting.

Starting times are between 3am and 7am, with a minimum of 8 hours' pay per shift and options for overtime. The role includes a modern, well-maintained fleet and potential temp-to-perm opportunities in a busy Swindon depot.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Cat CE) licence.
• CPC and Digi Tacho card.
• Experience with double-deck trailers preferred.
• Strong work ethic and reliable timekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Carry out trunking work using double-deck trailers.
• Complete depot-to-depot runs with no manual handling.
• Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe and presentable vehicle.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
