Job summary

Driver Hire Southampton is recruiting Class 2 (Category C) HGV Drivers for a new client in Southampton. This is a great opportunity for reliable drivers looking for regular Monday to Friday work, early starts and early finishes, with the potential to secure a permanent position.

You'll work Monday to Friday, start times between 5am-6am, 7.5-hour shifts, driving a Class 2 refuse vehicle with household waste collections and manual loading.

Qualifications

• Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence is required.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card are required.
• Good physical fitness and safety-conscious attitude are essential.
• Own transport to the depot is preferred.
• Newly qualified drivers welcome.

Responsibilities

• Driving a Class 2 refuse vehicle.
• Household waste collections and manual loading.
• Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, no weekends.
• Work as part of a friendly team.
