Job summary

Driver Hire Southampton is recruiting Class 2 (Category C) HGV Drivers for a new client in Southampton. This is a great opportunity for reliable drivers looking for regular Monday to Friday work, early starts and early finishes, with the potential to secure a permanent position.

You'll work Monday to Friday, start times between 5am-6am, 7.5-hour shifts, driving a Class 2 refuse vehicle for household waste collections and manual loading, in a friendly team.

Qualifications

• Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence required.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Good physical fitness and reliability essential.
• Own transport to the depot may be required.
• New driver applicants welcome.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 (Category C) refuse vehicle.
• Carry out household waste collections and manual loading.
• Work as part of a friendly team.
• Regular Monday to Friday shifts with early starts (5am–6am).
• Shift duration around 7.5 hours.
