Having hit a milestone fundraising target in 2024, they now have a new target set to be reached by 2028 and this role is pivotal in helping to achieve this as they look to completely re-platform their two main websites that will help to drive awareness and donations.

You’ll be able to demonstrate previous experience of managing new website builds and migrations, working closely with the development agency to deliver the project on time and on-budget, supported by the Digital Marketing Manager who this role will report to.

Elements of the role include:

  • Define the project scope, objectives, deliverables and timelines for the project.
  • Selecting agencies to pitch and being part of the decision-making process.
  • Assess the current platforms and make an informed decision based on data and the needs of the charity on what platform to move to.
  • Make recommendations on the structure, functionality and content required for the new sites.
  • Oversee migration and continuous testing to ensure the sites are fit for purpose.
  • Manage launch and training.
  • Regular updating and reporting to all stakeholders involved in the process.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Previous robust experience of managing new website builds and migrations.
  • Experience of wireframing and expert knowledge of UX/UI design principles.
  • Experience of using different CMS such as WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, Wix etc.
  • Experience of using SEO tools and other analytics.
  • Exceptional project management expertise- a Prince 2 qualification or Scrum Master would be a bonus!
  • Able to communicate to multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience can be either from an in-house role or agency where you have project managed transactional website builds.
  • Previous experience of delivering a fundraising website would be advantageous but not a pre-requisite.

What do you get in return?

  • Flexible hybrid working.
  • Generous annual leave entitlement.
  • Employer enhanced pension scheme with an 8% contribution.
  • Financial support towards ongoing professional development.
