Website Manager - 12 month fixed term contract

A look into the role

As a Website Manager within our marketing team, you will:

  1. Be responsible for the day-to-day management of grantthorton.co.uk website to meet business objectives and lead generation goals.
  2. Lead regular reviews of the website and user experience across our digital channels.
  3. Contribute to the strategic direction of UX for the UK corporate website of Grant Thornton.
  4. Own the website development roadmap, working with GTIL and development partners for incremental improvements.
  5. Ensure web accessibility and compliance.
  6. Manage third-party relationships and toolsets.
  7. Help produce training materials and deliver training on our web platform and templates.
  8. Make strategic recommendations and provide advisory services across teams.
  9. Understand business challenges and opportunities, using technology to drive value.
  10. Review and report on search term progress.
  11. Report on website performance to key stakeholders.

Knowing you’re right for us

The minimum criteria include a university degree, relevant qualification, or substantial experience managing a corporate website, ideally B2B.

  1. Extensive experience with enterprise CMS platforms, ideally Optimizely (EPiServer).
  2. Experience working with senior stakeholders and managing large-scale website projects.
  3. Strong analytical skills to interpret data and implement changes.
  4. Experience with website personalization, UX, and information architecture.
  5. Clear communication, presentation skills, and the ability to influence decisions.
  6. Experience managing third-party suppliers and contracts.
  7. Line management experience to lead and develop teams.

Additional skills that are a plus but not mandatory include basic HTML/CSS, analytics tools, UX visualization tools, content management platforms, and Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
