Qualifications

• Proven experience managing a large, complex website or digital platform.
• Experience managing external web development agencies and sprint planning.
• Practical experience using a CMS such as Drupal or WordPress.
• Experience using website analytics tools to evaluate performance.
• Experience managing budgets or overseeing digital project expenditure.
• Understanding of accessibility, data privacy and compliance in HE settings.
• Strong analytical and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Website management and optimisation: CMS content, accessibility and compliance; monitor with analytics tools to improve UX and conversion.
• Web development and agency management: manage backlog and sprints via Jira; maintain agency relationships.
• Planning and delivery: coordinate routine and strategic updates aligned with marketing and academic priorities.
• Technical development: collaborate with IT on integrations, plan and test changes.
• Budget and performance management: monitor budgets and day-to-day website performance; resolve issues.
• Governance and collaboration: guide content management, accessibility and digital standards; stay current with trends.
