Job summary

Inntravel is seeking a Website Content Editor to support our marketing team with copy amendments across the site. You will review pages, apply a defined set of changes, and tighten phrasing while keeping copy clear and correct.

This hybrid role requires a minimum two days per week in our Whitwell-on-the-Hill office and is a 2–3 week temporary assignment at £13.45 per hour plus holiday pay. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong written English and grammar understanding.
• Experience with small copy edits and following guidelines.
• Ability to work independently and manage repetitive tasks.
• Comfortable with CMS and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Review website pages against a defined list of words, phrases or topics.
• Identify and amend references within the page copy.
• Make minor edits to surrounding wording for clarity and correctness.
• Work through a large number of pages following guidelines.
• Check completed pages for accuracy and consistency.
• Flag pages requiring additional guidance or clarity.
• Use judgement to keep copy natural and coherent.
