Job summary

Inntravel Limited is seeking a detail-focused editor to review website pages and implement approved copy changes. You will identify references, adjust wording for clarity, and ensure consistency across many pages.

The role is hybrid, with a minimum two days per week in the Whitwell-on-the-Hill office. It is a temporary assignment for 2-3 weeks, with a pay rate of £13.45/hr plus holiday pay. Applicants should have strong written English and experience with CMS or similar content-management tasks.

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong written English with good grammar and sentence structure.
• Experience with making small copy edits.
• Experience using a CMS is desirable.
• Competent Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Review website pages against a defined list of words, phrases or topics.
• Identify and remove or amend references within the page copy.
• Make minor adjustments to surrounding wording for clarity and grammar.
• Work systematically through a large number of pages following guidelines.
• Check completed pages for accuracy and consistency.
• Flag pages where changes are unclear or need guidance.
• Use judgement to ensure copy reads naturally.
