Job summary

KDR Talent Solutions Ltd is seeking a Web Development Manager to own and lead the web development function. You will guide a small development team, align delivery with marketing and product goals, and drive technical direction to improve platforms and customer experience.

You will partner with commercial stakeholders, challenge requirements when needed, and ensure projects are delivered on time with high quality and robust technical standards.

Qualifications

• Experience managing and developing a team of Software or Web Developers
• Strong technical background in .NET and SQL Server
• Experience managing Agile development projects and delivery roadmaps
• Good understanding of CI/CD, automated testing and modern development practices
• Strong stakeholder management skills, particularly working with non-technical teams
• Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions
• Confidence challenging requirements and recommending alternative approaches
• Experience managing priorities, estimates and project delivery

Responsibilities

• Lead & Develop the Team: Manage and support a team of Web Developers, providing technical direction and improving engineering standards.
• Own the Web Development Roadmap: Plan, prioritise and deliver web development projects balancing technical and commercial needs.
• Work Across the Business: Partner with Marketing, Product, SEO and CRO teams to turn ideas into practical technical solutions.
• Shape Technical Solutions: Get involved early in discussions, challenge assumptions and recommend the best approach.
• Improve the Platforms: Identify opportunities to improve website performance and customer experience while maintaining high code quality.
• Manage Delivery: Oversee estimates, timelines, budgets and external suppliers, keeping stakeholders informed.
