Job summary

TrustTech Recruitment are partnering with a digitally focused company to recruit a Development Manager. You will own the web development roadmap and lead a small technical team, delivering scalable customer-facing platforms.

Based in Chester with hybrid working, you will collaborate across digital, marketing and technology to turn business requirements into effective technical solutions and engage with senior stakeholders and external partners.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a software/web development team.
• Strong hands-on background in .NET development.
• Knowledge of SQL Server.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and code quality standards.
• Familiarity with Agile methods and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and delivery of the web development roadmap.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, SEO, and conversion teams.
• Provide estimates and explain technical options to stakeholders.
• Mentor a small team of web developers.
• Establish standards for code quality, testing, deployment, and platform stability.
• Provide technical direction across the organization's web platforms.
• Manage external development partners and suppliers.
• Report progress, priorities, risks, and upcoming activity.
