Job summary

Sonos is seeking a Software Engineer for Web and Marketing in Glasgow. The role focuses on building customer-facing features for the Sonos Pro storefront and business account portal using React and Next.js, with content managed via Sanity CMS and integrations including Salesforce.

You will collaborate with product, design, marketing, and a technical lead to deliver scalable user experiences, ensure accessibility, and measure engagement across campaigns and lifecycle journeys.

Qualifications

• Approximately two years of relevant software development experience.
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and React.
• Experienced with Next.js or similar modern web framework and responsive components.
• Experience consuming REST APIs and integrating frontend with backend services.
• Familiar with Git, debugging, automated testing, accessibility, and web performance.
• Able to clarify requirements and collaborate across product, design, marketing, and engineering.
• Must be able to work from the Glasgow office 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain responsive web features for Sonos Pro storefront and business portal using React and Next.js.
• Implement product catalog experiences and purchasing journeys.
• Develop reusable components and content-driven experiences with Sanity CMS.
• Support trial signup and conversion by integrating frontend with backend services.
• Contribute to dealer discovery, store locator, and account self-service features.
• Implement integrations and event tracking with marketing and Salesforce processes.
• Test for accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, performance, and release readiness.
• Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with partner engineering teams.
