Job summary

Monzo is seeking a Web Engineer to help maintain and scale the public website and build new frontend features. You’ll work closely with product managers, designers and engineers to deliver high-quality, performant user experiences across international audiences.

You’ll leverage modern JavaScript, React, Vue, Angular, TypeScript and Webpack within a large frontend codebase, contributing to architectural decisions and a culture of craft and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Proficient in modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue or Angular.
• Experience building component-oriented web applications with TypeScript and tooling like Webpack.
• Comfort with large frontend codebases and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Monzo's public website and ensure it scales for international expansion.
• Collaborate with Product, Design and backend teams to scope and deliver features end-to-end.
• Contribute to frontend architecture, performance, security and UI quality.
