Job summary

Brook Street Recruitment, Bradford, is seeking a Web Developer to join their in-house digital team. You will develop, maintain and enhance web applications across desktop and mobile, working with Laravel, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and WordPress.

You’ll collaborate with designers and stakeholders, troubleshoot issues, ensure cross-browser performance and contribute to image editing tasks. Onsite role with future hybrid flexibility, salary £25,000–£35,000 DOE.

Qualifications

  • Commercial experience with Laravel.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
  • Experience working with WordPress.
  • Familiarity with Git version control.
  • Understanding of relational databases such as MySQL.
  • Experience developing responsive and mobile-friendly websites.
  • Good attention to detail and code quality.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Basic image editing skills using Photoshop or similar software.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.

The Role

Working closely with designers and the wider development team, you'll be responsible for developing, maintaining and enhancing web applications while ensuring a seamless user experience across desktop and mobile platforms.
